In terms of cost, hydrogen production from fossil fuels is currently cheaper than hydrogen production from solar and wind energy, and with the development of renewable energy, its cost may be lower than that of fossil fuel hydrogen production in the next 10 or 20 years.
   The hydrogen industry chain is very long, including four links: hydrogen production, hydrogen storage, hydrogen use, and hydrogen transportation. The most difficult part is the two ends. It turns out that hydrogen production from coal or natural gas will produce a lot of carbon dioxide. Using renewable energy to electrolyze water to produce hydrogen is difficult to develop large-scale devices, and most of the related technologies are currently monopolized by foreign countries. With the opening of the entire industrial chain, my country is conducting large-scale development of catalysts, membrane electrodes, and the entire device in the production of hydrogen by electrolysis of water.
   There are many ways to transport hydrogen. Such as high-pressure hydrogen transportation, liquid hydrogen transportation, pipeline hydrogen transportation, etc. We are also developing various synthetic transport routes, such as metal hydrogen storage, ammonia hydrogen storage, etc. And hydrogen supply is inseparable from hydrogen refueling stations. The supply and construction of hydrogen refueling stations in my country needs to be further strengthened.
